Levitt Pavilion announced the appointment of a new executive director today, March 14, after an international search led by Arts Consulting Group Inc., the same group that Swallow Hill Music used to find its new president and CEO, Aengus Finnan.

Meghan McNamara will officially start at Levitt on April 3, bringing fifteen years of experience in arts management and nonprofit leadership, including managing programming, marketing and partnerships for the Joan W. and Irving B. Harris Theater in Chicago.

"I am excited to join Levitt Pavilion Denver as executive director and to work alongside the exceptional team and board to support the mission of building community through music," says McNamara in the Levitt announcement. “With its commitment to free, accessible programming, Levitt is uniquely positioned as a space to experience the arts and find connection — I can't think of a better time to start than heading into the 2023 season, and look forward to getting to know the Levitt community and Denver's rich cultural scene."

And Levitt has quite the 2023 season to look forward to. For the past six years, Levitt Pavilion has hosted free concerts on the sprawling, lush green grass of Ruby Hill Park, and it's become a major summer destination for music lovers.

Last week, the nonprofit also announced the lineup for the 2023 Free Summer Concert Series, as well as its roster of ticketed concerts for the summer. Tickets for those shows as well as RSVP and limited VIP tickets for Levitt's Free Summer Concert Series are on sale now.
