DENVER (CBS4) – Coming to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival next week? Well the fun doesn’t stop there. It’s only a short walk from the Colorado Convention Center to the Summit Music Hall to see some great musicians and support a Colorado nonprofit organization.
“The Voice” runner up, Laith Al-Saadi, along with Colorado’s rising star Brent Cowles and Garrett Lebeau from Austin, Texas, will be performing on Friday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. to benefit Levitt Pavilion Denver.
Levitt Pavilion Denver is a nonprofit organization in Denver dedicated to building community through music. The organization put on a series of free concerts this year and the Summit Music Hall concert will cap off the season.
The nonprofit is working to get its new venue in Denver’s Ruby Hill Park operational by July 2017, but the organization put on the free shows in Civic Center Park this year in advance of that.
Tickets to the final Levitt Pavilion Denver concert cost only $25 and fans get plenty of perks.
“Each ticket includes an exclusive opportunity to try ‘The Smoothness’ collaboration beer, as well as unlimited Jameson Irish Whisky, Great Divide Brewing Co. beer, sliders, appetizers and more.”
The 2017 concert calendar has yet to be released, but the nonprofit plans to feature local performers frequently. The new venue will have a capacity of 7,500 and the shows there will be a mix of free and ticketed shows.
Levitt Pavilion Denver also offers many volunteering and sponsorship opportunities.
