DENVER (KDVR) — Levitt Pavilion wrapped up another year of its annual Summer Concert Series, entertaining over 100,000 people in 65 total events, according to a release Tuesday.
Levitt Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater located in Denver’s Ruby Hill Park. It is one of several Levitt Pavilions nationwide, first opening in 2017. According to the nonprofit organization Levitt Pavilion Denver, it provides over $10 million in free concerts each year.
The series started in May of this year, with the last show of the season on Oct. 5. There were 65 events in total, with 44 free shows, 12 ticketed shows and 9 free yoga on the lawn events.
More than 110,000 people attended the series in 2024, according to the organization.
This is slightly lower than in years past, with 2022 and 2023 attracting over 139,000 and 136,000 attendees respectively.
The venue hosts a wide variety of music genres including reggae, bluegrass, opera, jazz and metal.
Levitt Pavilion Denver recently launched an “Invest in Levitt Pavilion’s Future” fundraiser. The ultimate goal is $500,000.
According to the fundraiser page, the money would go to things like expanding the accessible walkway, improving lighting and creating community celebration spaces.
