Chris is a champion for live music that is accessible for all. He is credited with the sustainability and overwhelming popularity of City Park Jazz, serving as Vice President and President from 2006 - 2014. Since 2012 he’s led Denver’s effort to create the new Levitt Pavilion at Ruby Hill Park.
In 2013, Chris was recognized by the Denver Business Journal as one of Denver's "Forty Under 40" for his commitment and leadership to Denver's non-profit community. He was named one of the Four Most Influential People in Denver Entertainment in 2014 by AXS.com. In 2015, Chris was honored with the inaugural Cultural Leadership Award from the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts.
Chris has worked most recently as a partner with Zebra Incorporated specializing in non-profit consulting. Chris has a vast amount of experience in accounting, budgeting, crisis management, contracting, community outreach and fundraising.

Chase joined the Levitt Denver team in 2016 after relocating back to Denver from Los Angeles. A Colorado native, Chase moved to LA after receiving his bachelors degree in Music Business from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2009.
Chase has been involved in all facets of the live music entertainment industry, getting his start at local venues, The Meadowlark and Larimer Lounge. In 2011 he was hired as the lead musical tech on The Conan show. There he had the opportunity to work with hundreds of acts, from up-and-comers like Kendrick Lamar, to musical legends like Ringo Starr and Alice Cooper.
In 2013, Chase was offered the position of Production Manager for both the Levitt Pavilion LA and Levitt Pavilion Pasadena. Since then he has helped produce over 400 concerts between the two venues, to include local bands on up to seasoned Grammy winners. Every year Chase has been involved in the Levitt Pavilion Pasadena, the venue has won the title of "Best Live Music Venue," and he can't wait to bring that same title to the Levitt Pavilion Denver!

Associate Director / COMMUNITY OUTREACH
On December 13, 2016 Levitt Pavilion Denver announced Andy Thomas as their Associate Director. A graduate of Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Thomas has been playing music in Denver since 2003, most notably with the bands, Tin Horn Prayer, The Knew and his solo project, Andy Thomas’ Dust Heart.
Professionally, Thomas has made it a personal mission to help his fellow musicians in a number of ways, including helping to start Illegal Pete’s “Starving Artists Program”, coordinating two years of The Denver Music Summit, and facilitating WESTAF’s IMTour program, which gives grant subsidies to independent touring musicians.
Thomas’ role at Levitt Pavilion Denver will see him working with the city of Denver and the surrounding neighborhoods of Ruby Hill Park, ensuring the programming at the pavilion is beneficial, and is valuable, for the nearby communities.
Thomas, also a board member of Think 360 Arts and contributor to Westword magazine.

Sydney recently moved to Denver after graduating from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies and a Certificate in Performing Arts Entrepreneurship.
Sydney has been actively involved in the music industry for several years. She was the talent buyer at the University of Iowa and booked concerts which included CHVRCHES, Iron & Wine, Old Dominion, Vince Staples, and many more. Since her arrival in Denver, she has worked marketing for Sweetwine Entertainment Group and data entry at Madison House Agency.
Sydney is extremely excited to work with such a great team in the upcoming years and even more thrilled to help spread the love she feels for music to everyone in the Denver community.
Joel Rekiel started playing and performing music when he was 13 years old after finding a beat-up acoustic guitar in his grandparent's attic. He quickly realized his passion for working in music. Soon he was recording and performing in local bands in his small hometown in northeast Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, he went on to attend Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, where he studied Recording Arts and Music Business.
After holding roles in stage management, venue operations, freelancing with touring bands, and audio engineering in world-renowned recording studios, he was interested in a change of pace. In 2013, while driving cross-country to Los Angeles for a large-scale recording project, Joel stopped in Denver for the night with friends and never left.
Denver’s booming music scene opened the opportunity to co-found his current endeavor, BLDGBLKS Music Company. With high expectations and a small business mentality, BLDGBLKS has continued to grow each year, taking on more clients. Whether he is working with musicians, booking festivals and tours, running PR campaigns, playing music, or attending live shows, Joel’s daily routine reflects a fierce commitment to his craft and his client’s visions.
He now looks forward to being part of the Levitt Pavilion team where he'll utilize his skill set to ensure the highest level of quality to the production and artistic operations of the venue.
